Operation Never Forget
Honoring Red Hook’s history of service from the American Revolution to today, anchored by The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall® and The Some Gave All Moving Tribute.
Operation Never Forget runs Thursday, September 16 through Monday, September 20, 2027, with events at sites across Red Hook. The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and the Some Gave All Moving Tribute will be on display at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7412 South Broadway, with education series programs at the Elmendorph Inn, local cemeteries, and VFW Post 7765. The opening ceremony is Friday, September 17 at 9:00 AM. The Wall is open to visitors daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The full schedule of ceremonies, services, and speakers, along with parking and volunteer details, will be posted here as it is confirmed.

- Wall open 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM · School, civic, and group visits · Memorial service and speakers (details to come)
- Sunday, Sept. 19
- Wall open 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM · Closing ceremony, retiring of the colors, and Taps (time to come)
- Monday, Sept. 20
- Take-down and departure (volunteers needed)
